Camping Capo Ferrato has been awarded the Ecotourism Oscar by Legambiente ITALIA, a recognition given to Italian establishments that stand out for sustainable and responsible hospitality.

On October 24, 2021, during the TTG Travel Experience fair in Rimini, our campsite was honoured as “Best Accommodation Facility”!

Legambiente Italia recognised our concrete commitment to the sustainable management of water and energy resources, the protection of coastal biodiversity, and the environmental education activities we offer our guests.

We were also awarded for our “Sardinian Weeks” programme, which has long been our signature for cultural, natural and hands-on tourism; for our eco-friendly beach, which participates in the Tartawatchers sea turtle protection project; for the “Da Guido” restaurant, which showcases local ingredients and a wine list that highlights wineries from the region; and for the continuous investments we make to improve the campsite with a focus on sustainability.

During the award ceremony, Legambiente also praised the long seasonality of our activity, which helps generate value and economy for the local area. 💚💚💚
